PM Modi Ignores Trump’s Calls, India’s Tough Stand Shakes US Confidence!

New Delhi:Tensions between India and the United States are escalating over trade. According to a report by the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), Prime Minister Narendra Modi allegedly did not answer four phone calls from US President Donald Trump.

This move is being seen as a strong response to Washington’s decision to impose 50% tariffs on Indian goods.

The report claims that Trump has been pressuring India to open its markets for US agricultural products. However, PM Modi has made it clear that India will not compromise on farmers’ interests under any foreign pressure. Modi has earlier stated that India would protect farmers “even if it means sacrificing friendships.”
